is the title of an exhibition made as a collaboration between a team of six German and five Danish artists. The first exhibition took place in Kassel 2013. The second exhibition will now take place in Staldgade 74, Copenhagen where the eleven artists will show their works together.
Thee title of the exhibition points to landscape which can be understood in relation to ‘nature’ in the more traditionally sense as fields, soil, trees, flowers, water, various beings inhabiting the ground.
Perhaps one could also see it as an invert ‘happening’ with mental landscapes with inner unknown rivers, lakes and trees.
The term ‘Terra Incognita’ stems from Latin, meaning ‘unknown land’ and is used in cartography for regions that have not been mapped or documented.
