Studies in Visual Communication at the Kunsthochschule Kassel with a focus on illustration and graphic design, with an artistic degree and the status of master student in 2008.
Since 2004 Markus Lefrançois works as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer with a variety of publishers, museums, and other clients from many areas, and has enjoyed commissions and recognition with awards and international exhibitions. In 2007 he co-founded the publisher for graphic “rotopolpress”.
Since 2007 Markus Lefrançois has been teaching at the Kunsthochschule Kassel and from 2009 to 2016 at the European Academy of Fine Arts Trier.
