Annika Larsson´s work explores the intimate relationship between power, affect and visuality, and is reexamining conventions that structure the way we perceive and understand the relationship between images, the social world, and the individual. Her interest for the moving image lays both in its moving ability and ability to ”move” us. Her video works has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions around the world in institutions such as Museum für Gegenwartskunst, Basel, ICA-Institute of Contemporary Art, London, Fundacion la Caixa, Barcelona, S.M.A.K., Ghent, MACRO, Rome and Haus der Kunst, Munich. She lives and works in Berlin.
