Brinkmann, Tabea Maria

Research Associate | Art of the 20th and 21st Centuries

Tabea Brinkmann first completed a bachelor's degree in art-media-aesthetic education and cultural studies at the University of Bremen and then obtained a master's degree in art studies at the Kunsthochschule Kassel.

She works with an intersectional feminist approach to recurring major exhibitions/biennials and is particularly interested in the long-standing power imbalances and structures in the processes of creation, the exhibitions themselves and the discussions of these. Ultimately, the aim of her work is always to make these power structures detectable and to be able to undermine them through critical processing.
