Postgraduate qualifications are possible in a variety of departments at the Kunsthochschule Kassel.
In order to support exceptional artists, the Kunsthochschule offers the postgraduate qualification phase “Master student” in the Visual Arts and Visual Communication departments.
The Graduate School for Moving Image: Analog Realities, Digital Materialities is a unique pilot program in Germany, developed as a model for postgraduate research and qualification at art schools, that is, for the phase after an MA, Magister, or equivalent artistic degree.
Research-Artistic Associates (Qualification positions) at the Kunsthochschule Kassel have the possibility to do an artistic or design qualification project.
The Kunsthochschule is one of the few art schools in Germany to hold university status, giving it the right to grant Doctorate and Habilitation degrees.
