St. Leopold Peace Prize for Humanitarian Commitment in Art 2025

The "St. Leopold Peace Prize", named after the founder of the foundation, honors works of art that deal critically with humane and socio-political issues. The St. Leopold Peace Prize is awarded to works of fine art in the fields of painting, graphic art, photography and sculpture that demonstrate humanitarian commitment in addition to artistic aspirations and implement the specified theme.

The following theme was chosen by Provost Anton Höslinger for the 2025 prize: We even turn waste into money!

Artists of any nationality, political and religious persuasion as well as groups of artists can apply. The prize is endowed with 12,000 euros. The St. Leopold Peace Prize 2025 will be awarded in spring, as the works of the final selection will be included in the 2025 annual exhibition if possible.

Submission for the Art Prize of the Year 2025 is only possible from July 1 to September 30, 2024.
