A multimedia sound installation in the Museum for Sepulchral Culture.
18072013 is a multi-media sound installation that seeks ways of dealing with mortality. This profound theme can be felt, heard and spatially experienced. For this, Andreia Bickenbach uses, among other things, the sounds of porcelain and their own zine, which reveals the polyphony of interviews conducted in advance.
With 18072013 Andreia Bickenbach completes their diploma studies in art in Kassel. Before that, Bickenbach already completed a film education and worked as a curatorial assistant as well as a film artist. For 18072013 Bickenbach received the Hessian Graduation Grant.
