The design research studio Crafting Plastics from Bratislava/Berlin will be presenting itself and its practice on January 24 at 5 p.m. in room 0239 (Department of Sustainable Product Design, Atrium, KHK). The duo sees itself as an interdisciplinary design studio specializing in circular design and research into innovative, responsible materials: "We emphasize low-key and high-end. By combining craft + technology, fast + slow production methods, we discover the mostly unknown field of bioplastics derived from plants." The talk is part of the workshop Crafting Biomaterials for Closed-Loop Circular Systems, which will take place from January 24 to 26, 2024.
